David Gray was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1979. He was initiated into Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. During his undergraduate years, David volunteered reading for the blind at the Red Cross.
